On Friday 16 March 2012, schools throughout Australia will join together to celebrate the annual ‘National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence’. The focus for 2012 is on parents, families and school communities working together to recognise the important role everyone plays in staying safe.
An online activity for secondary students will be presented by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Cybersmart program.
National Day of Action Against Bullying Online Activity Friday 16 March 2012, 2.00pm – 2.45pm
This interactive presentation aims to support secondary students to be safe and responsible users of digital technology. It will look at features of cyberbullying with a focus on positive online activity such as positive friendships, being a positive bystander and safe social networking.
