Topic: Empowering Student Learning with Technology

Presenter: Dr Christine Redman, University of Melbourne

Synopsis: Dr Christine Redman is a senior lecturer in Science and Technology education in The Melbourne Graduate School of Education.  Her research interests include using technologies to enhance the learning gains and participation rates of students. Christine is interested in using technology enhanced discussions to improve learning. The potential in WIKIs and Blogs to progressive student’s understandings in collaborative ways seems like highly positive way forward. This session will examine a structure that implies and supports choices for the use of technologies.
